Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi [Images] will take one more step forward towards realization of his political dream when he will formally open the newly built office building of his proposed political party in the posh Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad on next Sunday.

The construction of the multi-storied building with all the necessary facilities, including meeting halls and rooms for office bearers, was launched only a few months ago and has been completed in a record time.

Party sources said that the fully-furnished building was now ready a few days before the formal launching of Chiranjeevi's party. The star is likely to address his fans and supporters on the occasion of the opening of the office, but the announcement about the political party was expected to be made only August 17 or 18.

Meanwhile, the Chiranjeevi camp was busy in preparation for the maiden public meeting of Chiranjeevi. Advisors and associates of the star have set a target of mobilizing at least one million people to his first meeting to cause a 'political earthquake' in the state and the country.

"We want the Mega star's entry in to politics as dramatic as his entry on the screen in his films," says a senior member of Chiranjeevi camp.

Chiranjeevi prays for political fortune?

As part of efforts to mobilize support for the star before his appearance on the political stage, Chiranjeevi's brother and another film star Naga Babu held discussions with the leaders of Kapu Nadu, a caste organization representing the Kapu community to which Chiranjeevi belongs.

"You all must help in making Chiranjeevi the next chief minister of the state," Naga Babu told the Kapu Nadu leaders. Replying to their demand that the Kapu community members should get a major share in the organizational posts as well as tickets for assembly elections, Naga Babu said that the tickets will be distributed to all the sections of the society in proportion to their population.

'Politics is really dirty. I will be a misfit there'

'But with out worrying who gets what, you should work to see Chiranjeevi as the chief minister,' he said.

On the demand of including Kapu community in backward classes list and providing them the reservation, Naga Babu said that star himself will speak on those issues.

Meanwhile, a major development which has created a flutter in the state politics, Chiranjeevi met the media moghul Ramoji Rao and held discussions for two long hours.

According to sources in Chiranjeevi's camp, they discussed the current political situation in the state. The star sought the blessings and support from Ramoji Rao who has so far been seen as the biggest supporter of Telugu Desam party and its president N Chandrababu Naidu [Images].

Ramoji Rao, who owns the biggest and most influential Telugu daily Eenadu, and a television network of several channels, including the popular ETV and ETV2, is seen as a major influencing force in the state politics and was given the nickname of 'King Maker' when he supported NT Rama Rao at the time of his entry in to politics in 1982 and later Chandrababu Naidu from 1995 onwards.

But of late, as the doubts increased about the ability of Chandrababu Naidu to defeat YS Rajasekhara Reddy led Congress government in the state and return to power, Ramoji Rao was reportedly pondering over his future strategy.
